UGA Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus Ronald L. Carlson and Cobb County Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Michael Scott Carlson presented "Evidence in Action: Critical Issues in Federal and Iowa Evidence" at the 2018 meeting of the Iowa State Bar Association last Wednesday, June 20th in Des Moines. The Carlsons’ expertise in the the rules of evidence and trial strategies continues to be widely sought after in multiple states.
On Wednesday, the Carlsons presented a lecture based on cross-examination under the Iowa and Eighth Circuit rules. As an added bonus, some of Prof. Carlson’s former students from his days as faculty at the University of Iowa School of Law were in attendance, as was highly-respected Drake University law professor, Alan Vestal.
